Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon extra-light olive oil, or as needed
- 2 slices Italian bread
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 2 slices Cheddar cheese
- 3 slices deli ham, or more to taste
- 1 slice firm-ripe tomato
- 1 thin slice onion
- cooking spray
Directions:
Stage 1:
Sprinkle olive oil on 1 side of each bread cut. Spread 1 tablespoon mayonnaise on the opposite side of each cut. Heap cheddar, ham, tomato, and onion on top. Top with other bread cut, mayonnaise side down.
Stage 2:
Warmth a barbecue skillet over medium-high warmth; splash softly with cooking shower. Spot sandwich on barbecue; overload it with a substantial skillet. Cook until cheddar is liquefied and barbecue marks show up, 3 to 5 minutes for every side.
